Photos/Video: Overturned Truck On Middle Road
[Updated] Emergency services responded to an incident on Middle Road near St. Mary’s Road in Warwick this afternoon [Feb 28] which resulted in a truck landing on its side.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and Police attended the scene where bystanders indicate no one appeared to have been injured. Traffic was diverted away from the area while emergency crews were on scene.

Update 2.05pm: A police spokesperson said, “Around 12 noon today police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel responded to an overturned truck in the Middle Road, Khyber Pass Warwick area.
“Details remain limited. However, apparently no one was injured in the incident.
“Traffic is currently being diverted from the area until further notice while Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel address any spilled fuel from the vehicle.”
Update 2.15pm: A police spokesperson said, “Traffic diversions in the Middle Road, Khyber Pass Warwick area are no longer necessary and traffic flow in the area is slowly returning to normal.
“The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the motoring public for their patience. Inquiries regarding the circumstances of this incident are underway.”

Is it just me or does it seem that vehicles with steering wheels seem to be in the news an awful lot lately compared to vehicles with handlebars ?
