Consultation On Postal Services Delivery
The government has launched a public consultation on the topic of the services of the Bermuda Post Office [BPO].
A spokesperson said, “The Government of Bermuda is committed to ensuring that it offers opportunities for residents to provide feedback on matters that affect them.
“As such, the Ministry for the Cabinet Office with responsibility for Government Reform is seeking the public’s feedback / comments regarding the services the Bermuda Post Office delivers.
“Over the years, communications have changed significantly and resultantly, the BPO will evolve. As highlighted in the recent 2018/19 Budget Statement, reform of the Post Office is under consideration and may include the expansion of services that leverage the island’s various post office locations.
“Currently the BPO is reviewing the products and services offered to the community with the view to potentially adding new services.
“With that in mind, the public is invited to share their feedback in the following ways. Members of the public can visit the following links and fill out the online questionnaire: on the website or via this web link.
“The public can provide their submissions in person by visiting the General Post Office, Ground floor GPO Building, Church Street, Hamilton. The GPO will have questionnaires available to fill out in their main lobby, which once completed can be placed in the drop box provided.
“Visit the Post Office’s Facebook page for a link to the questionnaire.
“The consultation period concludes on March 28th, 2018.”
