The island has footballers in action across Europe, with Nahki Wells, Reggie Lambe, Dante Leverock, and Willie Clemons playing for their respective teams in England, Estonia and Sweden this weekend.

Nahki Wells in England

Nahki Wells came off the bench in the 72nd minute as Queens Park Rangers picked up their third away win of the Sky Bet Championship season after defeating Ipswich Town 2-0 at Portman Road.

A corner from Luke Freeman found its way into the net to open the scoring after 13 minutes before Tomer Hemed converted from the spot on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-0 after Ebere Eze was upended in the box.

Reggie Lambe in England

Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates secured a point away to League leaders Lincoln City, in a 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank.

A strike by Jevani Brown cancelled out Matt Rhead’s early header for Lincoln City to ensure Cambridge United ended their losing streak in Sky Bet League Two.

Dante Leverock in Estonia

Dante Leverock and his JK Navra Trans teammates went down 2 – 1 at home to second placed Flora.

Flora would take the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Erik Sorga, but three minutes later JK Navra Trans were level when Victor Plotnikov scored. Flora would go back in front in the 42nd minute through an Rauno Alliku strike and with that being the only scoring of the game they would hang on for the win.

Willie Clemons in Sweden

Willie Clemons and his Bodens BK were promoted to the 1st Division after they came from behind to defeat Piteå 2 – 1.

Piteå took the lead when Johan Hedström scored giving the home team a 1 – 0 lead, but goals from Jack Serrant-Green and Max Nyqvist earned Bodens the title.
