Minister Congratulates Bermuda Wushu Team
Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports Lovitta Foggo congratulated Bermuda’s 12th Pan American Wushu Championships team who won two Gold Medals and two Bronze Medals over the past few days of competition.
The two Gold Medals went to Krista Dyer and Ryley Mason, while the two Bronze Medals were won by Johneiro Outerbridge and Dean Jones.
Minister Foggo said, “I wish to congratulate all of the athletes who took part in this well-respected competition. They should be extremely proud of their accomplishments, as we all are.
“Thanks to the Bermuda Sanshou Association – whom the athletes represented – for their role in facilitating Bermuda’s participation in this competition.”
The 12th Pan American Wushu Championships took place from October 30th through November 5th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
