Betschart & Ringsted Back In Action In Malta
Local sailors Rachael Betschart and Magnus Ringsted were back on the water competing in the Euromed Optimist Regatta in Malta, which is being hosted by the Malta Young Sailors Club.
Ringsted is in the Gold Fleet and after three races on the day and 11 in total he moved up from his 36th starting position to end 28th with 230 Net Points. Ringsted had finishes of 18th, 38th, and his best finish thus far in the Regatta of 4th.
Betschart is in the Silver Fleet and came off the water in 12th, up five places from her starting position in the Fleet with 244 Net Points. Betschart finished 33rd, 17th and 11th in the day’s races.
