Alpha Leadership Symposium On Mental Health
The Men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Epsilon Theta Lambda Chapter are inviting the public out to their Symposium, which aims to create a scholarly environment for dialogue on critical issues that impact our community also to find solutions that will drive the island in a positive direction.
A spokesperson said, “This year’s event will focus on mental health in Bermuda. The ultimate goal is to discuss the state of mental health in Bermuda and how we might take action to improve the mental health of our families, schools, and communities. The event will take place this Thursday, April 4th at the St. Paul AME Centennial Hall from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.”
The Panelists include:
- Wor. Juan Wolffe – Senior Magistrate, The Department of the Judiciary
- Mr. Roger Trott – Dir. of Problem and Responsible Gaming
- Mr. Jonathan Jervis – Experiential Therapist, Bermuda Hospitals Board
- Mr, Chris Crumpler – Executive Director, IMPACT Mentoring Academy
Epsilon Theta Lambda Chapter President Dr. Timothy Jackson said, “Mental health affects everyone in this community and our goal is simply to educate, enlighten and ultimately change Bermuda for the better.”
