Photo Set #3: World Triathlon Bermuda Races
The World Triathlon Festival Weekend was held with the three day event involving an opening ceremony, RenaissanceRe Kids Duathlon, amateur age group races, plus the male and female elite races which featured some of the world’s top professional triathletes from different countries.
A total of 35 troops from the Royal Bermuda Regiment provided security and acted as marshals around the MS Amlin World Triathlon. The RBR also provided extra safety on the water with two vessels from Boat Troop which carried rescue divers for the swimming section of the event.
