Photos: Bermuda Defeat Sao Miguel, Azores 2-1
The Bermuda Football Team defeated a team from Sao Miguel, Azores by a score of 2-1 last night at the National Sports Centre to win the Pauleta Cup, with all three goals coming in the first half.
Crowds of people came out to the game, some waving Bermuda flags, some waving Azorean flags, and some people appeared to be supporting both sides, with people seen flying both the Bermuda and Azores flags.

Bermuda took a 1-0 lead when Justin Donawa scored, and a few minutes later Bermuda moved up 2-0 thanks to a goal from Jonte Smith. Sao Miguel Azores were awarded a penalty in the 30th minute, and Joao Ventura converted from the spot to make it 2 – 1.
Both teams made changes in the second half, however neither team found the back of the net, and the game ended with Bermuda recording the 2-1 victory.
In the end the referee blew the final whistle as Bermuda claimed the 2 – 1 win.

it was a good match,the refs that where at the game has to be the worst I have ever seen!!! I do have a few questions regarding the refs:
1. Why was the only FIFA certified ref as a 5th official?
2. The 4th offical, was a Joke!!!
