First. Great job Bermuda. Second. Ms Foggo. You just got back from Europe and you’re in the States in less than a week. Shoot I wish I had the travel skills you have. As the saying goes if the funds don’t belong to you use it all up until it’s all gone.

  2. Yes! Most necessary. O.B.A. could spend trash millions on A.C.B.
Yes. The Government will spend for these great athletes’ fine success.
    Congratulations, Bermudian athletes!!!!

    • Toodle-oo says:

Well , you’ve certainly been a roll with your incessant BS

    • huh? says:

Bermuda had a whole Youth Red Bull team at AC, full of Bermudian Athletes… + significant return on investment for the event. They didn’t trash millions.

      • Onion Juice says:

Ya, de trickle turned to a drip.

    • Bill says:

Win one game, score two goals and are bounced out of the tournament?

      Fine success?

      Really.

  3. London says:

Motorcade.. For finishing second to last, winning one game and beating Nicaragua. Ya joking right?

    • Onion Juice says:

De smallest Nation (size and population) to qualify in de competition and de first time we qualified for de competiton and would’ve went further if we took our chances, deserves some merit.
So enjoy your River Thames while we bath in crystal clear water.

      • London says:

Onion juice you idiot, London is a pen name, I swim in the same crystal clear water as you!!

        • I'm just saying says:

You’re right London they should keep their feet on the ground and not get carried aeay

    • Wendie Warren says:

We are remarkable! You need to understand that and be able to celebrate it!
The best is yet to come.
We knock off from work and have the audacity to compete against those who
play for a living. One guy was making $30,000 a month.
      We dare to dream.
This team will help to pave the way for those to come.
And yes, our youth are coming! And their opportunities are growing
in more ways than we can imagine.
Hait and Costa Rica could not lay down with us.
They had to compete as well.
We have won more for our country and youth than the win on the field.
It is the start of something new, and I hope that we take full advantage of this.
The guys should be proud. I know I am.
Yes, it is significant. Yes, it is a great accomplishment.
Bigger than those with small minds can begin to envision.
So I encourage true supporters to catch the vision.
All others, to catch the bus.
Negative vibes are not needed. I advise any naysayer to keep that spirit to their self.
I have never seen anything thrive out of negativity.
Wishing all the best to all those that represent Bermuda in all disciplines.
      You all do us proud.
Encouraging more spectators to join the journey!

It’s only up from here! (Sports tourism, here we come)

    • Triangle Drifter says:

Where is the motorcade for the swimmers, the gymnasts, the sailors & others who have represented Bermuda so well & actually won something?

    • PBanks says:

Second to last? Pure ignorance. If you want to go into specifics, Bermuda finished their inaugural Gold Cup ahead of Cuba, Nicaragua, the loser of T&T/Guyana, and equal with Honduras, the winner or T&T/Guyana, Martinique.

Why do you hate the accomplishments of local, home-grown athletes?

  4. me says:

does anyone know where can buy the pink away jerseys?

    • Onion Juice says:

I thought teams were de colours that represent their flag, so where does pink come from?

      • Triangle Drifter says:

Pink is our unofficial colour. It also stands out from the rest of the colours used by other countrys.

      • Horsemeat says:

De beaches, or de LGBT community. Both perfectly acceptable.

      • PBanks says:

I think the BFA ran a contest or something to design the kit.

Remember too that Japan’s kit and Italy’s kit has blue despite the colour being in neither country’s flag. Or Netherlands/orange or Australia’s yellow/green.

      • Jus' Wonderin' says:

Players already playin for de LGBT community lmfaooooo

    • Bermy girl 4eva says:

      BFA

  5. Jussayin says:

Firstly, congratulations to the Bermuda football team for doing an outstanding performance in all of their group games.now in regards to your idioic comment. Ppl make me laugh how they complain about AC spending around 60 million on an event that highlighted Bermuda, created jobs, boosted the economy, among many other beneficial trickle down affects. Yet the PLP are again running this island to our “knees”. Why weren’t you all complaining when they 40 million over budget on Berkeley, 20 million over the police station and that’s just naming a few those over spending would have already paid for the AC. Side not why isn’t anyone protesting now because you cant be happy with that insurance act that was passed or the sugar tax, pretty sure if the OBA did any of these we would have the same 300 protesters again. Smh wake up Bermuda it’s not about 25-11, educated ppl don’t care about the #, we just want to see our island in a better state.

  6. Joe Bloggs says:

I hope the BFA actually gets this money and it does not turn out to be like the $20 million the BCBC was promised by Government years ago

  7. London says:

Ya a idiot! London is a pen name like onion juice, I could be sitting right behind you!

  8. Dready says:

Imagine if we had won what the govt would have given. Will drinking elephants be allowed on the motorcade, just asking?
