Field Hockey: Hawks, Budgies & Pink Robins Win
A Bermuda Field Hockey double header produced a total of 25 goals at the National Sports Center.
Hawks 6 Ravens 1
A new Under 16 Boys’ team the Hawks took to the field for their first Bermuda Hockey Federation official match and they defeated the Ravens 6 – 1. Charlie Lightowler led the Hawks with a hat-trick, while Edward Ingham, Scott Gilbertson and Mark Van Der Berg all added a goal each, while Lorina Harvey scored the lone goal for the Ravens.
Budgies 8 Longtails 0
The Budgies defeated the Longtails 8 – 0 in the second game, Francesca Cacace, Keishae Robinson and Kascia DaSilva led the way with 2 goals each, while Amy Fox and Angela Dunstan both added a goal each.
Sand Pipers 0 Pink Robins 10
In the final game the Pink Robins defeated the Sand Pipers 10 – 0. Lexi DeAngelo scored a hat-trick to lead the Pink Robins to victory, Jo Heaney and Leana Coetsee scored twice, while Jennifer Chisnall, Lauren Cardwell and Heather Sinclair all found the back of the net once.
