The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be a road closure on Camp Hill Road in Southampton for replacement of aging BELCO transmission cables during Wednesday, 18h of September to Friday, 18th of October, 2019.
The road closure on Camp Hill Road will be from Fork Lane junction down to Sousa Garden Center Entrance in Southampton. The work will commence during the hours of 7:30am through 5pm – Monday to Thursday.
Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to avoid this road closure sections and to use alternative routes via Middle Road and Spice Hill Road for the duration of this road closure.
Railway Trail users will be able to have access to the Tribe Road No.1 going South. Access along this section of Camp Hill road closure will be restricted to emergency vehicles and residents only.
Traffic controls will be under direction of BELCO representatives.
The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of pedestrians and the motoring public, and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
