Sailors Continue In Optimist Championships

The 2019 North American Optimist Championships continued in Nassau, Bahamas, with Bermuda sailor Christian Ebbin still leading after the second day of racing.

Ebbin after a total of six races leads the Fleet with 10 Net Points, he finished 14th in the first race of the day and the 4th of the series, before winning the second race and then he crossed the line second in the third race of the day.

Magnus Ringsted is the second Bermuda sailor and he is in 14th with 33 Net Points, Ringsted had a 6th, 9th and 31st place finish on the day.

PJ Rodrigues is 63rd with 102 points, while Rachael Betschart is in 67th with 106 points.

Nicole Stovell is currently holding down the 73rd place spot leaping up 26 places with 111 Net Points, Ava Adams is 92nd with 133 Net Points, Amelia Lewis made the biggest leap of the Bermuda Fleet on the day jumping up 59 places to finish the day in 93rd with 134 Net Points.

Laura Hupman is 94th with 136 Net Points, Kipling Rossouw is 120th with 170 Net Points and Sophia Dias is 130th with 184 Net Points.
