Bobb Shines In Southern Maryland Classic
Caitlyn Bobb represented Harford Tech at the Southern Maryland Classic at the Prince George’s County Sportsplex.
Bobb recorded the fastest preliminary time during the 55 meter dash as she clocked 7.26, she then clocked the fastest semi-final time of 7.23 heading to the final. In the final, Bobb finished second behind state leader Victoria Perrow of Bullis School with a personal best time of 7.20.
Bobb recorded one of the fastest flat track times in the country at 300 meters with a new Personal Best time of 39.34.
Her time ranks 8th fastest in the USA this year and only another Maryland star in Bella Whittaker of Mount De Sales at 39.22 has a faster time on a flat track.
Bobb led off the Hartford Tech Women’s Varsity 4×200 Rrelay team that finished 3rd clocking a time of 1:47.58.
