Man Dies Following Jet Ski Accident
The police have confirmed that a 23-year-old man has died following a jet ski accident in the Morgan’s Point, Southampton area this evening [June 28].
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 7:00pm today, Sunday, 28th June, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a jet ski accident off of Morgan’s Point, Southampton.
“It was reported that a 23-year-old male was injured and unconscious. Emergency Medical Services staff and on duty Coast Guard personnel were informed.
“The injured male was transported to the dock at Jews Bay, where he was transferred to a waiting ambulance and conveyed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“He was however pronounced dead on arrival. No further information will be provided until all next of kin have been notified.”
