Government House Holds Beach Cleanup

The Governor, Deputy Governor, and Government House staff staff held a beach cleanup at Shelly Bay Beach today [July 24].

Government House posted the photos online below, saying: “This morning the Governor, Deputy Governor, and Government House staff held a beach cleanup at Shelly Bay Beach with the support and assistance of Anne Hyde, the Executive Director of Keep Bermuda Beautiful [KBB].”

Governor John Rankin said “The Government House team is happy to do its part in helping to Keep Bermuda’s beaches and parks clean and free of waste. We are blessed to live on this island, and we thank Keep Bermuda Beautiful for the work they do all year round in protecting our environment.”
