Parfitt-Williams & Fylkir Move To Top Of Table
Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir Reykjavík team have moved to the top of the First Tier League in Iceland after they picked up a 2 – 1 win against Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar.
Fylkir took the lead in the 30th minute when Thordur Gunnar Hafthorsson scored, however Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar drew level in the 67th minute when Daniel Hafsteinsson found the back of the net.
The Fylkir winner came six minutes later when Arnor Goujohnsen scored, and they now lead the league on goal difference over KR Reykjavik.
