Video: Sunday August 2nd ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that people across the island celebrated the Cup Match holiday including the first Mary Prince Day, CedarBridge Academy student Priel Minors was selected to attend a virtual coding camp, over $20,000 was raised for charity by Liberty Specialty Markets, Bermuda Sailors’ Home is offering a sailing experience for “different abilities,” and Huckleberry continued its feeding program were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Djair Parfitt-Williams scored in a Fylkir win, Zeko Burgess and Dominic Subair were named Cricket Players of the Week, Annabelle Collins won a Dressage Class in Spain, Harbour swimmers excelled at a summer meet and the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood held a successful Cup Match event.
