Sky Sports To Broadcast The World Tens Series
Sky Sports will be broadcasting the Rugby World Tens Series — which will take place in Bermuda starting later this month — live in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
A spokesperson said, “World Tens Series is excited to announce that Sky Sports, the dominant subscription television sports brand in the United Kingdom and Ireland, has signed a deal to cover the World Tens Series events taking place in Bermuda later this month and into November.
“The Series, which aims to transcend the sport of rugby, will see international players from the world of 7s and 15s competing for global franchises in a series to decide the inaugural World Tens Series champions.
“This is the first broadcast partnership to be confirmed, with further announcements in other territories to follow.“
World Tens Series CEO, Jon Phelps said, “It is fantastic to be working with a huge broadcast partner in Sky Sports for our World Tens Series events in Bermuda. Having the World Tens broadcast on Sky Sports will allow thousands of rugby fans across the UK the opportunity to see all the action unfold live and via highlights.
“Sky Sports broadcast a number of international rugby tournaments and matches all around the world, so to be added to the portfolio is testament to the hard work of our team in getting this concept to life.”
How have these organizers managed to put on their international event, but the triangle challenge people couldn’t?
Because they are taking a safe and sensible approach versus the alarmist approach by others! All events are doable if you follow safe distancing guidelines
Apples and oranges. The rugby event will have 23 athletes on the field, two teams of 10 each and three officials. The Challenge could have a thousand athletes massing on the start line together with all the volunteers and officials.
