Police: “911 Number Is For Emergencies Only”
Noting that “operators have been inundated with callers seeking information on Covid regulations and guidelines,” the police have reminded the public that “the 911 number is for emergencies only.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] operators have been inundated with callers seeking information on Covid regulations and guidelines.
“The BPS wishes to remind the public the 911 number is for emergencies only. The 211 number is for the reporting of crimes.
“For questions or information regarding the novel Corona Virus, Covid-19, please call the government Covid information number, 444-2498.
“Alternatively, you should visit here.”
