Honest Greens Launches New ‘Mini’ Option

Honest Greens Bermuda has added a new subscription option for customers seeking “weekly, contactless delivery of locally grown, non-GMO specialty greens and culinary herbs.”

A spokesperson said, “We found that while customers love our standard subscription, sometimes the quantity of greens and herbs delivered could be a little much for people living in smaller households. We listened to that feedback, and we’re now offering a ‘mini’ option in addition to our regular subscription.”

“Honest Greens Bermuda grows its produce hydroponically in a greenhouse environment. Subscription customers receive a weekly curated collection, including crop varieties not seen elsewhere on island. Crops are refrigerated immediately upon harvest, packed in insulated cooler bags and delivered within 24 hours of harvest, ensuring that customers receive the freshest possible greens for their meals.

“Customers have received produce ranging from red butter lettuces to purple stem mizunas, purple bok choi and other asian greens to lemon or cinnamon basil,” says the spokesperson. “In addition to the new tastes, textures and colours, we really focus on freshness. In fact, where possible, we try to harvest living produce with root systems trimmed but still functioning. This helps with freshness and thus nutrient retention.”

“Customers now have two choices when setting up their Honest Greens subscription. The standard option is a weekly delivery of 4+ units, ideal for an average family. The new ‘Mini’ option offers a weekly delivery of 2+ units, suitable for a smaller household or individual. In addition to the delivery, customers receive a weekly electronic newsletter with recipes, nutritional information and more. Subscriptions are limited in number to ensure that only the freshest quality produce is provided each week.
