Covid-19 Press Conference To Be Held On Thurs
[Updated: It will now be held on Thursday] The Government will be holding a press conference this evening [June 1] to update the public on Covid-19. We will have additional coverage following the press conference, our continuous live updates are in this article, and the live video below should start showing the press conference at around 5.30pm or a bit later.
What Are We Expecting?
- New test results are normally announced at each press conference
- New vaccination statistics are released weekly at the press conferences. The statistics from last week indicated over 68,000 vaccinations had been administered
- We do not know this, but as the quarantine rules are scheduled to come into effect on June 6th, it is possible that may be discussed
- Other items are likely to be discussed
