Another flyer said, “All Concerned Bermuda Citizens! Please proceed to Global House 5:00PM in support of the Cannonier/Watson Family, and all of our constitutional rights.”

We need quarantine for unvaccinated travellers (as do many countries) because they have statistically more chance of contracting and spreading COIVD-19. By a considerable margin.
We need government mandated quarantine in Bermuda, because Bermudians think their sh*t don’t stink , they cannot stay at home and think rules don’t apply to them.
It’s really that simple.
I could care less what whacko holistic eating berries cure the Cannoniers think they have for coronavirus. But they need to be isolated until they have had their day 14 tests.

Then how is it that nearly ALL imported cases recently have been of vaccinated individuals? Sounds to me like every single person getting off the planes needs to be in hotel quarantine for 14 days.

Note: the reason we do not have local transmission is more likely because it is NOT flu/ virus season in Bermuda. It’s summer.
We rarely have sickness during the summer season.
Our spikes are March- May and Nov. – Dec.
Just look at the Bermuda Covid Cases line graph and you will see our pattern which is why the so called ‘experts can predict another wave.’ It’s not exactly rocket science.

For one, some of those in ICU were individuals who ended up there after taking a jab.
However, because they had not had 2 shots with 14 days, they are not classified as vaccinated rather unvaccinated.
How is that for misleading the masses.
Then there is the whole dying with Covid as opposed to dying from Covid. A covid related death means you actually died from an underlining condition such as stage 4 cancer, but you may have had Covid 28 before your death.
Again misleading.
If you die after being vaccinated and you have an underlying condition, it is considered a coincidence.
Why so many lies?
When you heard breaking news, 5 new cases of the variant, you automatically assume it’s an unvaccinated person. Last week 4/5 of the positive cases were vaccinated. Go figure.
Then the leaders say, oh, this shows vaccination works because we have no local transmission: yet we had none with the unvaccinated either; only one day has passed ( incubation is 14 days) and most Bermudians are immune.
PS: In Bermuda, we just Don’t have the flu in the summer.
We have it March- May and Nov- Jan when the seasons change!

Totally agree with you. Whilst I respect people’s choice not to have the vaccine, those people must still abide by the rules in place if they choose not to. I wonder if they would dare try to break the rules in Canada, Australia. Singapore etc? Would love to see them try!

What sane person needs to get vaccinated for immunity for a virus that their body recovers from naturally?

To sustain ‘herd immunity’ it would do us well to consider immunity both naturally and artificially.
That’s dangerous misinformation and will put others at risk.
The reason we get vaccines is so we can get immunity to a disease without having to get the disease (and all the side effects).
Long Covid is scary. I’d rather have “artificial” immunity than risk being chronically ill for months or even years.
Same reason to get vaccinated against Measles. If you catch it naturally it erases your immune system’s memory…not to mention that it can make you infertile if you catch it “naturally”

This lady runs camps for kids. I would like to know if she is running them right now as clearly there is a risk to children who are under the age to receive the vaccine. Some kids have medical conditions that could mean catching Covid is life-threatening for them.
