‘Encourage Passengers To Arrive 3 Hours Ahead’

August 20, 2021

Noting the Covid-19 protocols, Skyport said they encourage “all passengers to arrive at the airport three hours ahead of their scheduled flight.”

Skyport posted the photo below on social media, saying: “Due to Covid-19 protocols, we encourage all passengers to arrive at the airport three hours ahead of your scheduled flight.

“Documentation for all passengers must be manually checked by the check-in agents, which can result in longer wait times before clearing security.

“As a reminder, passengers must also clear US Customs no later than one hour before their departing flight. Please visit our website www.bermudaairport.com for more information.”

    What a beautiful airport..

I get that there are a few extra steps in order to process people through the airport but that picture makes it look like a tiny commuter plane is on the tarmac. JFK or Gatwick on a normal day is infinitely more hectic than this single line.

I was just away for Cup Match and in that very same line and it wasn’t that much of an ordeal but ok whatever.

My GAWD, that picture is absolutely GHASTLY! (grabs pearls with one hand, fans face with other.)

    Seriously, 3 hours? Please.
