Photo Set #1: Flora Duffy Day Holiday Events
It’s a good thing she is super fit, as Flora Duffy had a very busy day today [Oct 18], which started out with a breakfast in her honour, before she attended a ceremony to rename Corkscrew Hill to Flora Duffy Hill, then went to the stadium for it to be officially renamed in her honour, before going to the unveiling of commemorative stamps at the post office, and ending the day by attending the Tribute Concert in her honour. The events were all held as Bermuda celebrated the ‘Flora Duffy Day’ holiday in celebration of the island’s first ever Olympic gold medalist.
