Do You Know A Great Female Entrepreneur?
In conjunction with Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, W.O.M.B Bermuda is seeking nominations for the 2021 Female Entrepreneurship Awards.
Mrs Stephanie Lee Muhammad, Facilitator of W.O.M.B Bermuda states; “Businesses have been making great changes adapting and updating their businesses and launching new businesses despite the pandemic.
“We commend all Bermuda Businesses for surviving these unusual times, adapting to what many are considering the new normal. We especially want to highlight and celebrate those female owned businesses, acknowledging the many hardships they have endured, ensuring not only their businesses are maintained, but also their families.”
A spokesperson said, “Individuals are encouraged to nominate a business by completing the short nomination form. Persons can nominate more than one business, in separate forms. Businesses are encouraged to have their customers, friends and family nominate them by sharing the nomination link.
“Nominations are open, closing on Wednesday, November 10. It is a People’s Choice award; once nominations are received, those businesses nominated will be announced and the public is invited to vote for the winner.
“Voting will commence Friday, November 12 and end Wednesday 17. The top 3 nominees will be invited to the 4th Annual Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Conference hosted by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, to be held virtually on Friday, November 19th, 2021 where the winners will be announced.
“BEDC looks forward to partnering again this year with Stephanie Lee of WOMB for the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2021 that will be presented during our Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Conference on Friday, November 19th.
“Our main goal is to not only highlight some of our amazing Women who are embracing entrepreneurship, but to also recognize the talent that we have throughout Bermuda.
