40 Female Entrepreneurs Nominated For Award

Voting is now open for the W.O.M.B Bermuda Female Entrepreneur award, with everyone able to cast their vote online.

A spokesperson said, “Vote now for the Female Entrepreneur for 2021/2022. For the last month, nominations have been pouring in, with almost 80 individual nominations, resulting in 40 nominees! Congratulations!!”

As part of the nomination form, we ask that persons share a bit on why they are nominating the business/individual for Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021/2022. The stories individuals leave are inspirational, showcasing the resilience and determination of Bermuda’s female entrepreneurs.

A spokesperson said, “This is a People’s Choice Voting system. Vote for your favourite female entrepreneur and encouraging your friends and family to do the same. Voting is online here.

“Knowing that the community is driving the nominations and voting is a huge boost to these women, personally and professionally! I am excited to see who will be this year’s winner!

“Voting will commence Friday, November 4 and end on Sunday, November 13. The top 3 nominees will be invited to the 5th Inspi[Her], the 2022 Women’s Entrepreneurship Weekend Retreat presented by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.

“In celebration of the 5th Annual Conference, it will be held over the weekend of Friday November 18 to Sunday November 20 at Cambridge Beaches, where the finalist and winner will be announced.

“BEDC looks forward to partnering again this year with Stephanie Lee of WOMB for the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2022 that will be presented during our Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Conference on Saturday, November 19th.

“Our main goal is to not only highlight some of our amazing Women who are embracing entrepreneurship, but to also recognize the talent that we have throughout Bermuda. It was a successful addition to the virtual conference held last year and we look forward to many more years to come by Colina Outerbridge, BD&PA at BEDC.”
