Results: Premier & First Division Football

Footballers in both the Premier Division and First Division were in action this past weekend, with Young Men Social Club, Boulevard Blazers, PHC Zebras, Devonshire Cougars, Devonshire Colts, and Dandy Town Hornets all earning wins, while one match ended in a draw.

First Division

Young Men Social Club 7 – St. David’s 0

At the Police Field, Young Men Social Club scored seven unanswered goals against St. David’s. Ryan Parris led them to victory with a hat trick, while David Jones, Jomeko Mallory, Jahmir Lewis-Trott, and Shakii Pearman all added a goal each.

Vasco 1 – BAA 1

At the Southampton Oval, Vasco and BAA drew 1 – 1. After a scoreless first half, Shaun Brown gave Vasco the lead in the 54th minute, but in the 83rd minute Cole Summers equalized for BAA as they earned a draw, and remain undefeated.

Boulevard Blazers 4 – Paget Lions 0

At the BAA Field, the Boulevard Blazers defeated visiting Paget Lions 4 – 0. Ian Coke scored twice to lead the Boulevard Blazers to victory, while Niko Smith and Tekeyhi Walker added a goal each.

Premier Division

X-Roads 2 – PHC Zebras 3

At the Garrison Field, the PHC Zebras came from behind to defeat X-Roads 3 – 2.

Devonshire Cougars 2 – Somerset Trojans 0

After a scoreless first half, the Devonshire Cougars got goals from Chris Caisey and Chekai Caisey as they defeated the visiting Somerset Trojans 2 – 0.

Devonshire Colts 3 – Southampton Rangers 1

At the Police Field, Devonshire Colts defeated the Southampton Rangers 3 – 1.

Dandy Town Hornets 4 – Somerset Eagles 2

At the BAA Field, the Dandy Town Hornets defeated the Somerset Eagles 4 – 2. Nizigh Spence scored two first half goals to give the Dandy Town Hornets a 2 – 0 lead at the break. Julian Roser and Dante Scraders added second half goals for the Dandy Town Hornets, while Shakir Smith scored twice for the Somerset Eagles.
