Public Urged To Celebrate World Book Day
Nikita Robinson is inviting the public to support a school to help celebrate World Book Day 2022, which is less than a week away.
A spokesperson said, “Evangelist Nikita Robinson of The Worship Room on Magic102.7FM is inviting the public to support a nursery, preschool or public primary, middle or high school to help celebrate World Book Day 2022, which is less than a week away.
“1,404 books will be delivered to 41 pre/nursery schools throughout the Island in celebration of World Book Day. In addition, 18 public primary school reading classes and Public Middle and High school libraries, as well as the Boy’s and Girl’s Home will be receiving books as well.
“World Book Day is Nikita’s favorite day of the year, which happens to fall on her 54th birthday this year. The love of literacy will be spread from one end of the island to the other by community sponsors and volunteers. Reading Officer Kim Manderson from the Department of Education has lent her support again by retrieving specific book requests from each of the reading specialists at our public primary schools.
“It’s not too late to participate: To donate, just go to or call The BookMart department at Brown & Co at 279-5443 to purchase books or a gift card for the school of your choice.
