Car & Mini Car Collision, No One Injured
A collision in Paget today [May 27] involving a car and a rental mini car resulted in the mini car ending up on its side, however fortunately no one was injured.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:40pm Friday, 27th May 2022 a reported two-vehicle damage only collision occurred on South Road in Paget, near the junction with White Sands Road.
“It appears that the driver of a rental mini car exited Ice Queen parking lot headed east on South Road, with the intention of turning on to White Sands Road when a private car driver, also headed east, attempted to overtake.
“The collision caused the rental mini car to end up on its side, but it was later righted.
“There were no reported injuries to the driver of the rental mini car, said to be a 62-year-old American woman visitor, or the driver of the private car, said to be a 37-year-old Smith’s parish man. Witnesses are encouraged to call 211.
