Junior Classic Road Race On Bermuda Day
The Heritage Day Junior Classic Road Race — for ages 8-15 – will be held on Bermuda Day, which will be celebrated on Friday, May 27th, with some of the island’s top young runners set to be in action.
The event sign up page said, “Sanctioned by the Bermuda National Athletic Association, organized by The West End Athletic Club, and sponsored by Lister Insurance Agency Ltd.
The 2 mile race will start in the morning, with the event page stating it will start “on Front Street near the junction of Front and Court Street [actual start is at the Supermart traffic light] at approx.. 9:25 am. The route will head west along Front Street to the Bird Cage, than turn right onto Queen Street, right onto Church Street, than left onto King Street, than left onto Victoria Street, than right onto Cedar Avenue onto Marsh Folly Road, than right onto Dutton Avenue into the Bernard’s Park.
