Warwick Academy 5k Fun Run
Sunday, 22nd May, 2022
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will be a road closure for Morgan’s Road and a portion of Harbour Road, Warwick for the Warwick Academy 5K Fun Run.
Morgan’s Road will be closed from Warwick Academy Exit near Middle Road to Harbour Road. Harbour Road will be closed from Morgan’s Road junction heading west to Tamarind Vale Road, Warwick.
This 5K Fun Run will take place on Sunday, 2nd May, 2022 from 8:30 am until 11:00 am.
Motorists are asked to avoid these road closure sections and to use alternative routes via Middle Road, Keith Hall Road, and Longford Road for the duration of this event.
The traffic control will be under direction of the Warwick Academy representatives. In addition, the Bermuda Police service are hereby authorized to ‘Close off’ or ‘Open’ streets or portion of streets and restrict authorized parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
Access along these sections of road closures will be restricted to emergency vehicles and residents only.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

TAKE NOTICE that the Minister responsible for the Environment, being satisfied that there is an immediate need for the prohibition of fishing in a fish aggregation area, for the conservation and protection of the Blue-striped grunt [Haemulon sciurus] hereby notifies all members of the public that fishing in the fish aggregation area described below is prohibited from 1st May 2022 through 30th June 2022:
The area, being roughly rectangular in shape, enclosed by a line running in a north-easterly direction from St. Catherine’s Point, St. George’s to the Southern channel marker #12 [32 degrees 23.6 minutes North, 64 degrees 40.1 minutes West] thence by a line running along the southern boundary of the Southern channel to the Southern channel marker #16 [32 degrees 23.9 minutes North, 64 degrees 40.7 minutes West] thence by a line running in a south-westerly direction to a point 32 degrees 23.4 minutes North, 64 degrees 41.4 minutes West thence by a line running in a south-easterly direction to Fort George, St. George’s.
