Photos: Junior Athlete Sponsorship Awards
The 2022 National Junior Sponsorship Awards were recently presented, with a number of the island’s top young athletes earning grants to assist them in their sporting endeavors. Hosted by the Department of Youth, Sports and Recreation, tennis player Trey Mallory was named as the first recipient of the Flora Duffy Award, an award designed to assist athletes between the age of 19 – 23, which is valued at $10,000.
