Bermuda Advance To Play-Off In ITF/COTECC
Bermuda continued competing in the ITF/COTECC Under 12 Team Tournament in the Dominican Republic.
The Bermuda team of Dexter Snaith, Jaden Jones and Hasan Khan are in Group B alongside the Dominican Republic One team, and Puerto Rico.
Following their defeat against the Dominican One team, Bermuda took on Puerto Rico for a spot in the Promotion Play-offs.
Bermuda got off to a good start as Snaith won a two hour battle 6-2, 6-3 to give Bermuda a 1 – 0 lead, and Jones then gave Bermuda a 2 – 0 lead when he won his match in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.
Khan and Jones then took to the court for the Doubles and claimed a straight sets 6-2, 6-4 win to earn Bermuda a 3 – 0 win.
The win puts Bermuda through to the Promotion Playoff where they will play the winner of the Dominican Republic Two team and Bahamas.
