Harbour Nights Cancelled This Evening
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce announced that this evening’s [June 15] Harbour Nights event has been cancelled due to the weather.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce would like to inform the public of their decision to cancel Harbour Nights this evening. The Bermuda Weather Service Forecasts rainfall and increased winds for this evening.
“The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Small Craft Warning valid for late Tuesday night through Wednesday night, and their forecast for Wednesday says, ‘Hazy sun then cloudy with rain/showers developing in the evening. Winds southwesterly moderate to strong, increasing strong into the evening with gusts to gale force, especially in showers, then veering north-northwesterly moderate to strong late night.
“The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to welcoming everyone back next week Wednesday June 22nd from 7-10pm.
