Motorcyclist Taken To Hospital After Collision
A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital “for treatment of suspected head injuries” after a two vehicle collision in Warwick this evening [July 28].
A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:20pm on Thursday 28th July, 2022. Police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle collision between a motorcar an a motorcycle, along Middle Road, Warwick, in the vicinity of Keith Hall Road.
“Initial enquires suggest that both vehicles were travelling in an easterly direction. The female driver of the motorcar was attempting to negotiate a right turn onto Tribe Road #2, when two males travelling on a motorcycle attempted to overtake the motorcar, resulting in a collision.
“The male, believed to be the rider of the motorcycle was conveyed to King Edward Memorial Hospital, for treatment of suspected head injuries. It was reported that his pillion passenger was also injured, however the pillion passenger had left the scene prior to police arrival. The extent of his injuries is unknown. The female driver of the motorcar was not reported to be injured.
“Police are now appealing to the pillion passenger, as well as anyone who may have witnessed this collision, to contact Acting Sergeant Maya Tucker on 211 or email maya.tucker@bps.bm.”
