Grant Wins Medal On Eastcoast Opening Day

Members of the Bermuda Pacers Track Club began competing in the 2022 Russell E. Blunt Eastcoast Invitational Track Meet in Durham, North Carolina.

Bermuda Pacers picked up their first medal of the competition when Jaeda Grant clocked a gold medal time of 12:41.52 on her way to winning the 13-14 girls 3000-meter race.

Teagan Scott-Hanley missed out on a spot in the 8 & under girls 200 meter final when she finished 13th with a time of 41.41 in the preliminaries.

During the 9-10 girls 200-meter preliminaries, Jasmine Reid-Rubaine advanced to the final with the 3rd fastest time of 30.39.

With a time of 25.95, Ellise Dickinson finished 3rd in the 13-14 girls 200-meter preliminaries, Arima Turner also claimed a spot in the final when she finished 7th with a time of 26.54, and Pria Wilson would be the third Pacer in the final when she was clocked at 26.54 finishing 8th.

During the 13-14 boys 200-meter preliminaries, Miles Outerbridge clocked the fastest time of 23.13 to advance to the final, Malik Paynter just missed out when he was clocked at 24.61 finishing 11th, and Andre-Che’Alay Hollinsid finished 22nd with a time of 25.67.

I’Aura golding finished 33rd competing in the 15-16 girls 200-meter preliminaries with a time of 28.73.

Denver Tucker clocked a time of 23.05 finishing 6th in the 15-16 boys 200-meter preliminaries.

During the 17-18 boys 200 meter preliminaries, Saj Carey finished 25th with a time of 24.12.
