Dudley Eve: Hamilton & North Village Rams Win
The Dudley Eve Cup Competition continued at the Devonshire Recreation Club with a double header which produced a total of six goals in 180 minutes of football.
Dandy Town Hornets 1 – Hamilton Parish 4
Hamilton Parish came from behind to defeat the Dandy Town Hornets 4-1 to advance to the Dudley Eve semi-finals.
Chemarl Henry gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 25th minute, a lead they took to the break.
Hamilton Parish leveled the score in the 56th minute when Kion Knights scored. Aaron Nelson gave Hamilton Parish a 2 – 1 lead when he found the back of the net four minutes later. Hamilton Parish then took a 3 – 1 lead when Knights scored his second goal of the game in the 70th minute, and then six minutes later Knights completed his hat trick and made it 4 – 1.
PHC Zebras 0 – North Village Rams 1
For a second time in less than a week, the North Village Rams defeated the PHC Zebras 1 – 0, this time at the Devonshire Recreation Club in their Dudley Eve quarter-final match-up.
After a scoreless first half, Tre Ming scored the lone goal of the game to earn the North Village Rams a spot in the semi-final. The PHC Zebras had two players sent off in the space of two minutes early in the second half, before Ming’s winner.
