Mr. Simons said, “The delegates have now spoken, but have the people? Now that Premier David Burt has survived the leadership challenge within the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party, what does this mean for the country?
“It’s no secret. Most of the country is dissatisfied with the state of affairs in Bermuda. The leadership challenge offered many a ray of hope for a better tomorrow if Mr Dickinson won.
“But 97 delegates made a choice that all of Bermuda must live with—another four years with David Burt if an election is not called.
“Leading up to last night’s vote, there were assertions made about the state of our island. They cannot be ignored.
“It begs the question, will we be in a better place with Premier Burt? It’s difficult to envision as we’ve been under his guard for five years and his leadership has resulted in very little improvement for Bermuda and its people.
“It’s imperative that our state of affairs improve, and quickly. If not Bermuda will be clawing for its future.
“The One Bermuda Alliance believes in a leadership which cares about all its people, not just a faction; we believe that integrity must be infused in everything that is done for the betterment of the country and its people and most importantly we must regain a Bermuda which was prosperous for all.”
Yes Sire! The same system that you and your colleagues used to remain in power for decades will be the same system that will allow the people to speak before or within 2025!
Curtis stated in his speech that oba only benefits a few Cole. Now go back to sleep he’s going to bury you’re party next election 31 to 5.
He said that as a nod to the mouth breathing morons at the delegates conference. He knows full well that the OBA were the only bright part of the past 25 years. He knows it, you know it.
Bright part of a racist past that used and continue to use black men and women to help sway votes in their direction. He knows full well what the OBAubp is all about. He knows it, you know it, everyone knows it 30-6 so it doesn’t work anymore.

The people last spoke in 2020 and the majority of people do not support the PLP. One vote of equal value is a lie. While the MP split of 30-6 might looks like a landslide, partly due to the gerrymandered constituencies, it is nothing like a landslide. Only around 33% of registered voters voted PLP, which also equates to around 25% of Bermuda’s population. The PLP represents a minority Government.
The painful flip side of what happens when one examines and crunches the numbers.
30-6 aint all it seems .
And even less voted for the oba. But it is sad that people will not even bother to vote now because they know who ever gets in will do the same dumb sh… over and over again with no accountability. The polticians will get paid handsomely in the process of making bad desisions.

But let’s be clear, Burt is divisive, arrogant and not as bright as Curtis.
So he threw an election when he was sure of victory, he wouldn’t throw one now because he would lose. And rightly so, he is not good enough.
You realize Bitcoin is not running again! Curtis will be the next leader of the PLP. Stop playing checkers and play chess. Curtis will remain an MP even if Bitcoin invites him back as a Minister. The PLP will continue to win and the OBA will (4ever) lose.
He has a record unblemished by success.
The people are not happy and will speak loudly at the next general election when the correct decision will be made for the sake of the country.
