Arts Centre Set To Open ‘Island Life’ Show

The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will open a show titled ‘Island Life’ on Sunday [Feb 19].

A spokesperson said, “Sunday, February 19th is the opening of the Bermuda Arts Centre’s next show ‘Island Life.’

“The show depicts a little bit of everything with living on an island, from Bermuda to far away lands. Bright and bold, this show features a selection of work from the Arts Centre’s artist members. Included in the show is mixed media, paintings and ceramics.

“The viewer will take a creative journey through the beauty of coastlines, into historical homes, a walk along quiet paths and an inner look into island characters and life. All pieces are for sale.

“We invite the public to join us on Sunday afternoon for our opening, which starts at 3:00pm and ends at 5:00pm. We suggest a day in Dockyard; visit the National Museum of Bermuda, which is free to locals this month, have lunch at one of the wonderful restaurants and then come over to view our vibrant show. Trust us, it will make you feel good and certainly give you an appreciation of the West End.

“The show opens Sunday February 19 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The show remains on the walls until March 28.
