People were ‘Freezin for a Reason’ as Special Olympics Bermuda held their Polar Plunge fundraising event today [Feb 25] at Horseshoe Bay.
The event website said, “The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals and teams to support Special Olympics Bermuda athletes by taking an icy dip into our somewhat cold waters.
“Events like the Polar Plunge help support our Special Olympic athletes with their on-going training and funding for International Events like the upcoming 2023 Summer World Games in Berlin, Germany. We encourage you to reach out to your friends, families or co-workers and ask them to financially support your efforts and/or join you in the challenge of “Freezin for a Reason” in support of Special Olympics.”
