Pinky’s & FoodHub To Hold Job Fair On Tuesday
Pinky’s and FoodHub will be holding a job fair on Tuesday from 10.30am to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 6.00pm at Pinky’s Drive Thru on 95 Middle Road, Devonshire, saying their “goal is to hire 70 Bermudians.”
A spokesperson said, “We are receiving many responses from persons interested in employment. To be most efficient, Pinky’s and FoodHub will hold a Job Fair. The Job Fair is for all persons seeking employment including new applicants, and persons who have already applied and are waiting to be interviewed.
“If you have already been interviewed, we will be in contact shortly. No need to reply nor attend – thank you. All applicants are invited to show up to the Jobs Fair. Interviews will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Persons may be hired on the spot, so we encourage interested persons to attend early.
“Positions available are:
- Crew Member
- Traffic Coordinator / Outdoor Service
- Cooks
- Cleaners
“Bermudians and spouses of Bermudians are invited to apply. Our goal is to hire 70 Bermudians. All positions will be paid a minimum of $16.40. While we are hiring for all shifts, we especially are recruiting for persons able to work day shifts, weekends and on holidays. Open to current applicants and others looking for employment. 70 people for one drive through restaurant? This is the same company that doesn’t have one employee that’s stayed longer than a year. Whenever a company has such a high turnover of employees is a sign of bad management and ownership. This is how they’re able to stay profitable by paying the minimum but expecting maximum efficiency
