Fisheries Statistics
The owner or operator of every licensed fishing vessel is reminded of the obligation to keep a daily log of catch and effort statistics relating to the operation of that licensed fishing vessel, and to make returns of the catch and effort statistics to the Director of Environment and Natural Resources on the fisheries statistics Form 3 or online at www.fisheries.gov.bm. The deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for all fishing vessels for the year 2022 was on the 31st January 2023.
Fishing vessel owners or operators who have not submitted all of their 2022 statistics by the 30th April 2023 will have committed an offence against the Fisheries Regulations 2010.
Vessel owners and operators are further advised that the deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for the first quarter of 2023 [i.e. 1st January to 31st March 2023] is 30th April 2023. Statistics may be submitted to the Licensing Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources located in the Botanical Gardens, Paget or online at www.fisheries.gov.bm.
