Cricket: Premier, First, Women’s Division Results

St. George’s Cricket Club, St. David’s Cricket Club, Willow Cuts, Somerset Bridge, Warwick Workmen’s, and Cleveland County all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier, First and Women’s Division cricket action.

Premier Division

St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 26 Runs: St. George’s 149 Warwick Workmen’s Club 123

At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled all out for 149, Temiko Wilson was the top scorer with 38, Sergio Raynor was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s Club bowlers with figures of 7.4-0-24-5, Luke Fulton had figures of 9.2-0-45-4.

In reply Warwick Workmen’s were bowled out for 123, Malachi Jones was the top scorer with 60, Jones scored his runs of 43 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes, Zeko Burgess was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 8-1-16-3, Charles Trott bowled 6-1-21-3.

St. David’s Cricket Club Won by 10 Wickets: Southampton Rangers 46 St. David’s 47/0

At the Southampton Oval, Southampton Rangers won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 46, Makai Jacobs was the top scorer with 10, Derrick Brangman and Justin Pitcher both took three wickets, Brangman bowled 9-4-5-3, Pitcher bowled 3.3-2-5-3.

In reply, the St. David’s Cricket Club scored 47/0, Derrick Brangman was the top scorer with 34 not out.

First Division

Willow Cuts Won by 7 Wickets: Flatt’s Victoria 87 Willow Cuts 90/3

At the National Sports Center, Willow Cuts won the toss and sent Flatt’s Victoria to bat, they were bowled out for 87, Paul Carr Havey was the top scorer with 20 not out, Kevon Fubler was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 10-3-14-3, Herbie Bascome bowled 10-1-28-3.

In reply Willow Cuts would score 90/3, Kamal Bashir was the top scorer with 34 not out, Regino Smith was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 10-0-36-2.

Somerset Bridge Won by 215 Runs: Somerset Bridge 252/8 Devonshire Recreation Club 37

At the White Hill Field, Somerset Bridge won the toss and elected to bat, they would score 252/8 in their 50 overs, Joshua Gilbert was the top scorer with 99, which came off 151 balls, Gilbert hit 4 fours, Donnie Charles added 67 off 60 balls, he hit 3 fours and 3 sixes. Shaquille Pitcher was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 8-0-35-3.

In reply, the Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled all out for 37. Derek deChabert and Aaron Holdipp were the top scorers with 5, Gilbert was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 5-2-6-3.

Women’s Division

Warwick Workmen’s Won by 111 Runs: Warwick Workmen’s 157/4 St. David’s 46

The Women’s Division got underway with St. David’s winning the toss and sending Warwick to bat.

Warwick scored 157/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Karen Hodgson was the top scorer with 44, while Jessica Furtado was the pick of the St. David’s bowlers with figures of 4-0-33-4.

In reply St. David’s were bowled out for 46, Tamika Williams, and Rachael Rance were the top scorers with 5, Taahira Butterfield was the pick of the Warwick bowlers with figures of 2-0-4-2.

Cleveland County Won by 17 Runs: Cleveland County 96/4 Western Stars 79

Western Stars won the toss and sent Cleveland County to bat at the Police Field.

Cleveland County would score 96/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Jadae Hill was the top scorer with 19, Chantel Oosthuizen was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-0-15-1

In reply Western Stars would be bowed out for 79, Oosthuizen was the top scorer with 21, while Precious Smith was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 3-0-12-3, and Reuna Richardson bowled 4-0-16-3.
