Golfer Ebonie Cox Leading In Island Games

Bermuda golfer Ebonie Cox leads the way in the women’s individual competition after two rounds at the L’Ancresse Links Golf Course at the NatWest International Island Games in Guernsey, the Channel Islands.
Cox, who carded a first-round score of 73 yesterday, followed up by shooting 79 today for a total of 152. She is one shot ahead of Annabelle Lucas-Villar, of Jersey.
Bermuda’s Tracy Burgess is joint-fifteenth with a score of 164, Kimberley Botelho is joint-seventeenth with 165, and Ann Symonds is 37th with 195.
Bermuda are second in the team event with a total score of 470 with two rounds remaining.
