Did any run? Why so few running when we have nice new electric buses? Does anyone in the BTA care there are cruise ships in?

    • Joe Bloggs says:

What does the BTA have to do with buses not running?

      • LOL - the real one says:

BTA is responsible for Bermuda’s image to tourists. Anything that negatively impacts that image raises a red flag and the BTA should voice concerns. Historically, the BTA under different leaders did its best to expand the power of the BTA and publically voiced concerns on many issues including gay marriage. Clearly, there is an issue with bus cancelations that directly impacts tourists. And of course, how many of these cancelations are routes covered by electric buses? No one asks about the electric buses!!!

This begs the question: Why is the BTA silent on the bus cancelations issue?

        • Joe Bloggs says:

The BTA is a quasi-autonomous body charged with developing our tourism industry within the scope of what the PLP Government tells it to do and within the resources the PLP Government allows it. The BTA has now power to effect change.

If the BTA says something to embarrass the PLP Government it will be punished. Why do you think our previous Chief Justice (Dr. Ian Kawaley) left Bermuda?

          • LOL - the real one says:

What are saying is that the BTA lacks basic diplomatic and negotiating skills to fulfill its basic mission. Yeah, I would agree with that. Time to dissolve the BTA.

    Anyone seen Flip flop?

  3. Igiveup says:

85 runs canceled, the ministry is letting us know it’s definitely Back to School time.

  4. LOL - the real one says:

Why does the Ministry refuse to say how many of these canceled routes are covered by electric buses? Why does no reporter ask?
