Scott Barnes Competes At Super Karts USA
Scott Barnes continues to compete in the Super Karts USA Super Nats, in action in the Master’s Shifter Class Practice Field alongside 47 drivers.
One Day Two and Practice Race 5, Barnes finished 6th, completing 8 laps, with his best lap 43.589.
In the Final Practice Race, Barnes clocked a fast lap of 43.133 finishing 4th, completing 16 laps.
In Heat One, Barnes finished 37th clocking a 7-lap time of 7:58.913, and he did not finish Heat Two, only completing 3 laps before withdrawing.
Barnes said, “You need two things to do well in Vegas; gotta have the speed & need some luck on your side, we’ve had the speed all week to run up front, but today our luck was taken out in both heat races. But we’ll fight hard in Heat 3 tomorrow and see how far back we start in the final.”
