Conyers Promotes Sophia Greaves
Conyers announced the promotion of Sophia Greaves as the Head of Insurance & Reinsurance within the firm’s Bermuda corporate practice.
A spokesperson said, “In this role, Sophia will lead the Insurance & Reinsurance practice, leveraging her experience and expertise to drive the continued success of this key practice area.
“Sophia joined Conyers in 2010 as an Associate and became a Director in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Sophia practiced as an insurance lawyer in both London and Hong Kong. Sophia’s wealth of knowledge includes specialising in securitisations, mergers and acquisitions and [re]insurance transactions. In particular, she advises on the formation, licensing and ongoing regulatory requirements for Bermuda captives and commercial insurers. Sophia has demonstrated a track record of excellence having established a broad client base spanning a number of insurers and insurance groups.”
