Ball Hockey: Positive Image & Frontier Win
After multiple cancellations due to inclement weather, action in the Bermuda ball hockey winter league season resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink, with 10 goals scored in a double-header.
Spine and Sport 2 – Positive Image Dental 5
In the opener, Positive Image Dental defeated Spine and Sport 5 – 2.
Dustin Luck scored twice to lead Positive Image Dental to victory with two goals, while Davinder Jaggers, Tom Duggan, and Shane Matchett all added a goal each.
Jordan Gunther and Ross Rufiange both scored a goal each for Spine and Sport.
Frontier 2 – Appleby 1
The nightcap needed a shootout goal to decide a winner as Frontier edged Appleby 2 – 1.
After a scoreless first period, James Amaral gave Appleby the lead in the second period, but Chad Cundliffe equalized for Frontier in the third period.
John King would get the all-important goal for Frontier in the shoot-out to claim the victory.
