Field Hockey: Ravens & Hurricanes Win
The Bermuda field hockey season resumed with two matches taking place at the National Sports Center.
Pink Robins 0 – Ravens 2
The Ravens took the lead in the 15th minute when Grace Lightower scored a field goal. One minute later it was 2 – 0 when Nicole Cavangh scored a field goal.
Swizzles 2 – Hurricanes 3
The Hurricanes edged the Swizzles 3 – 2 in the other match.
The Hurricanes got a penalty stroke goal off the stick of Makie De Souza. Swizzles leveled the match at 1 – 1 with a field goal from Jen Hamilton. Grace Lightower then gave Swizzle the lead with a field goal, before Sven Curley drew the Hurricanes level with a field goal. The winning field goal came off the stick of Georgia Harris.
