Lane Closure In Sandys For Vegetation Removal
The Ministry of Public Works advised “that a single lane closure will take place on Somerset Rd in Sandys, located between Lantana Road and Ledgelets Lane, for foreshore vegetation removal.
A Government spokesperson said, “The road closure will commence on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, and will continue until Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.
“The work shall take place between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, daily. Rush hours will be avoided.
“The contractor’s representatives will close the Jane and manage the traffic flow with ‘Stop/Go’ signs. For safety purposes, no vehicular access will be granted through the closed lane.
“Any questions or concerns regarding the lane closure should be directed to Structural Engineer Mr. JM Colmet, at the Ministry of Public Works, on #501-3122.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that this lane closure may cause.”
